Individualized Instruction: Instructor provides individualized instruction and carefully observes, monitors student's progress to maximize learning. Interactive Learning Environment:

Individualized needs-based coaching is provided according to each individual's need ranging from total guidance to those who had acquired independent learning skills and seek more challenge. |
How the PEL Program Works? |
Concept Introduction
Each new concept is modeled and illustrated. Coaching Help ranges from pointing out the information needed to complete the problem to reminding students on concepts previously learned. Scaffolding and Fading Instructor guides, coaches and provides support as needed and fades away when students can independently perform the task. Instructor monitors and adjusts the level of support and the amount of practice needed by each student based on continuous observation of students. Articulation
Instructor asks questions that expose student's knowledge and degree of understanding of the concept learned. Student's response reveals his/her understanding by explaining the processes, procedures, or rules. Using the interactive learning process above, students articulated what they have learned; reflected on their performances; performed each worksheet till mastery; developed habits that will serve them well throughout their education and their lives. |
